Accounts Executives with a CPA qualification

We are seeking enthusiastic Accounts Executives with a CPA qualification or at least two cleared CPA subjects to join our finance team in Pune, India. If you are a dedicated professional with a strong accounting background and a vision for a long-term career, we’d love to have you on board!

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting & Month-End Close Process:

  • Manage the month-end close process to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Pass journal entries, including adjustments, accruals, and provisions.
  • Analyze and reconcile account balances.

2. Reconciliation & Auditing:

  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Reconcile payment gateway receipts to ensure accuracy.
  • Audit vendor invoices for errors and compliance.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.

3. Accounts Payable & Vendor Management:

  • Process and validate vendor invoices for timely payments.
  • Maintain vendor payment schedules and accurate records.
  • Conduct vendor account reconciliations and address any issues.

4. Accounts Receivable & Billing:

  • Issue and manage customer sales invoices.
  • Monitor receivables and maintain aging reports to ensure timely collections.

5. Compliance & Documentation:

  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain and organize accurate financial records.
  • Assist in internal and external audits.

6. Operational & Ad-Hoc Activities:

  • Support daily financial operations essential for business continuity.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Identify and implement process improvements in collaboration with the team.
  • Prepare financial reports and insights to support business decisions.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • CPA qualification or at least two CPA subjects cleared.
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and advanced formulas.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
